Cardiac vein anatomy
Oh Se-Il

Abstract
Knowledge of the coronary venous anatomy is essential for cardiac electrophysiologists to perform techniques such as catheter ablation and left ventricular pacing. Consistent structures are the great cardiac vein including anterior interventricular vein and the middle cardiac vein. The vein of Marshall is another tributary that can serve as a substrate for arrhythmia. In this review, we discuss the embryological and anatomical implications of these structures for interventional electrophysiologists.
